(ﷺ) قال رسول الله

- With Sabr (patience) a person can withstand difficulties.
- To beat around the bush (procrastination) is one of the manners of being deprived of the mercy of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).
- Everyone naturally likes justice.
- Following your desires are the means of destruction.
- The punishment of involving yourself in the love of material aspects is the withdrawal of true love for Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).
- Miserliness is the clothing of dishonor.
- Do not be satisfied of the person whose heart is not in his work.
- It is easier to turn a mountain into dust, than to create love in a heart that is filled with hatred.
- The person who follows his desires will surely get lost (becomes purposeless).
- Bavery is that you exercise patience, even for a little while.
- Moderation is the best status in all affairs.
- Your best friend is the person who assists you the most in time of your needs.
- It is better to refrain from sins than to seek forgiveness later.
- The person who is ensnared by jealousy will be ensnared by a bad ending.
- Many diseases (and problems) are due to extravagance.
- An intelligent enemy is (sometimes) better than a foolish friend.
- Ability (Taufeeq) to do something is good fortune and helplessness (not being able to do something) is misfortune.
- The person who points out and looks for faults in others, opens (the door of exposing) his faults to others.
- The person who assists a brother at times of difficulty, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will assist him in his time of need.
- The person who is saved from the tongue of others is fortunate.
- The person who stays in the company of kings and the rich becomes involved in worldly affairs.
- Severe poverty is the brim of (leading to) Kufr.
- The person who saves himself from vulgar language will find Falah (success).
- Every act that is beneficial is Sadaqah (charity).
- Many outside (strange) people are better than your own relatives.
- Many of the drowned (in hell) are those who have been sunk in the sea of ignorance.
- Many are the Aalims (learned ones) whom the world has destroyed.
- The best of your possessions is that which is of most benefit to you in times of need.
- Whoever loves this world he is in reality accumulating (his wealth) for others.
- To do good (deeds) is Farz.
- During the day a man’s actions are always changing, so appreciate the time in which you are able to do good.
- At the time of reaching extreme of difficulty and hardship, then know that the time for ease has to come.
- The man who is living in ease cannot appreciate the levels of difficulties of others.
- The person who has little wealth and means of happiness will only have ease and comfort at death.
- Sometime a little increases and becomes a lot and sometimes a great deal decreases to
nothing. - Some (haram) morsels of food are the cause of deprivation from a lot of other morsels.
- To beg brings dishonor, and to give creates love.
- Keep your tongue in control.
- A little well-earned wealth which satisfies your needs will suffice you better than a lot which is spent extravagantly.
- The greater the degree of happiness, so much (proportionate) will be the difficulty, loss or grief (at the end of it).
- (Carnal) Desires are the enemies of intellect and causes of regretful evils & bitterness.
- Greed and lust are the inveterate opponents of ‘Aql (reason)
- The company of evil people causes a good person to also be regarded as evil.
- The person who does anything inordinately, he will become famous in it.
- Many great persons are not valued by people.
- A respectable person always remains honorable even if he is afflicted with difficulties.
- He will not be lost who keeps on asking the way.
- A person who consults with others will not be bewildered.
- An intelligent person is he who does not (always) rely on his own opinion and judgement.
- In regard with your life, rely on such a person, on whom you can rely to keep a secret.
- The person who is satisfied with his own whims, will have many who dislike him.
- The person whose introspection is precious in his own eyes, then his desires will be valueless to him.
- The person who regards minor difficulties as major, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will afflict him with major difficulties and problems.
- What right has man to be proud and arrogant as his beginning was a drop of semen.
- The world deceives & causes harm people before they abandon it.
- Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) has not made this world a reward for his friends, nor does He deprive His enemies of it.
- Verily the people of the world are like a group of travelers and when the driver calls out to them, they all leave.
- Whoever opposes the truth, it will destroy him.
- The eyes are the pen of the heart -whatever they see, it makes an impression on the heart.
- Taqwa (piety) is the source of all good characteristics.
- What a beautiful thing is it for rich people to humble themselves in front of the poor only for the pleasure of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى).
- The person who is content with what he has, it becomes sufficient for him.
- Do not become arrogant when everything is going according to your plan.
- Do not become desperate when things go against your expectations.
- Whoever strives to attain something, he will achieve it or a part of it. Therefore, never become discouraged with your efforts.
- To be enticed by this world, despite its mercurial conditions is indiscretion.
- To be lax in doing good deeds despite their definite reward is imprudence.
- To place your belief in everyone without having experience and knowledge is sheer folly.
- Parsimony is an indicator of all bad characteristics.
- The favors of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) upon a person should be reciprocated by fulfilling the needs of other people.
- The person who understands that his talking is a action to be accounted for and judged by Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) will talk less.
- The person who condemns the faults of others without learning from them is a fool.
- Procrastination causes a person to be detached from the Qur’an which pleases Shaitan and angers Ar-Rahman.
- Choose truthfulness as Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is with the honest ones.
- A doomed person is he who is not concerned about his Deen.
- Stay away from lies and falsehood for they will stain your Iman.
- Always speak the truth and you will be counted in the trusted ones.
- Keep on doing the work of truth (Deen) and you will be from amongst the people of the truth.
- Take your belief from the trustworthy.
- Whoever deceives you, do not deceive his back.
- Keep a high standard relation with your family & close ones.
- If a person has not benefited you, still turn your favors towards him.
- When you make a promise, fulfill it.
- When you are made to judge, then be just.
- Do not have pride on your ancestors (lineage) and do not call one another by evil and insulting nicknames.
- Do not be jealous and envious, and do not harbor enmity and hatred in your heart.
- Do not sever ties with one another.
- Make salaam (to each other) in abundance.
- Be merciful towards orphans and assist the needy and oppressed.
- Eat halal earnings, be moderate in your living standard and in your livelihood seek moderation.
- A jealous person never has peace of mind and contentment, and a king never has true friendship.
- A liar cannot be humane.
- A miser does not have honor and respect.
- A corrupt person does not have courage.
- A person who mixes excessively with people does not have peace of mind.
- Solitude causes contentment and respect and is an act of worship.
- To be content with your lot is weighty and moderation is such a provision that suffices.
- Justice is more beneficial to a ruler than plentiful harvest of the season.
- The one who respects a mushrik is disgraceful.
- A rich person who desires more is poor.
- A person’s worth is not known until his examination is taken, therefore test your wife and children by means of your absence.
- A person’s worth is not known until his examination is taken, therefore test your friends in times of distress.
- A person’s worth is not known until his examination is taken, therefore test your close relatives in times of need.
- A person’s worth is not known until his examination is taken, therefore test your friends & acquaintances by your failures.
- Be cautious of a person who agrees with you, and in your absence becomes a reason of regret to you.
- Do not relate news from an unreliable source (person), it may result in you being made a liar.
- Do not mix with transgressors (sinners) as people will have doubts about you and think evil of you.
- Stay with noble people so that you may become one of them.
- Do not reveal a person’s secrets even if he has revealed your secrets.
- Do not befriend the enemy of your friend.
- If a person places a trust in your care, do not breach it.
- Do not speak on behalf of evildoers or you will be blamed by others.
- Do not keep company with gossip mongers because it causes you to always remain in doubt.
- The person who does you a favor and makes you happy, should not be given difficulty and grief in return.
